Moorpark Park
Just a quick walk away from your Studio City apartments for rent is Moorpark Park. This park is quite expansive and also has an excellent area for kids to play. While this spot around the corner from your apartments in Studio City doesn’t come with an epic view, it is still a very quaint picnic location with the essential green foliage.
Balboa Park
Speaking of views, tons of parks surrounding your apartments in Los Angeles come with a fantastic view. Starting with Balboa Park. This family-friendly park is known for its gorgeous lake and serene picnic spots. If you act now, you may even get the chance to see the cherry blossoms in bloom.

Vista Hermosa Natural Park
We love our downtown LA skyline. The best spot to enjoy it, along with a charcuterie board and some kombucha, is over at Vista Hermosa Natural Park. The grassy central area has a half-dozen dedicated picnic areas, all with a great view of the DTLA skyline.
Griffith Park
Last but certainly not least, the iconic Griffith Park. Of all the spots on this list, this is our favorite. You almost forget that you are living in Los Angeles while picnicking here. There are numerous locations to park your picnic basket here. There is the Crystal Springs Area along Fern Dell as well as the Griffith Observatory front lawn.
